040 of 182. The Puerta de Bisagra was the main gate to the walled city of Toledo. A new gate was built next to the old Moorish gate and rebuilt again in the 16th century. It has two massive towers and the coats of arms of Carlos V with a gigantic two-headed eagle above the arch.
